Our Origin Story
Liceum.ai started from a pattern we couldn’t ignore.
Our founding team was working on advanced AI projects that required domain-specific talent — especially data annotators and evaluators who understood the context behind the data, not just the mechanics of labeling.
They tried hiring through traditional freelance platforms and kept running into the same issue: many applicants, but very few with the right qualifications.
For tasks like medical imaging annotation, legal text labeling, or geospatial data validation, accuracy isn’t optional. Portfolios rarely showed true domain fit, and running trials outside the platform added friction, cost, and risk.
So we built what we wished already existed — a vetted talent marketplace designed for how AI actually gets delivered.
